PTSG Completes Specialist Access Works At York House, London

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a project to provide specialist Access & Safety services at a newly completed residential development in North-West London.

York House, located on Empire Way, Wembley, was originally an office tower block built in the sixties, redecorated in the eighties and recently converted to  flats. York House takes its place within the busy and popular Wembley Park.

The 14,500 m² development was delivered for York House GP Property and includes 368 micro living units with communal amenities and commercial office space. The wider Wembley Park landscape has transformed over the last few years due to significant regeneration by the developer, Quintain PLC.

This project saw engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd replace the original building maintenance unit (BMU) with a new one. A building maintenance unit enables technicians to safely access all parts of the building’s façade to carry out cleaning and maintenance work.

The Group’s engineers also installed restraint anchors on all elevations to comply with current regulations. The BMU was supplied by FBA Gomyl; the crane supplied by Ainscough; the restraint anchors were drilled by D‑Drill.
