Case study – restoring the façade of a major hotel

PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd recently completed a project in South London for a major customer in the hotel and hospitality industry.

The hotel is located in Battersea, close to Clapham Junction, Britain’s busiest rail interchange. It’s also close to the famous Battersea Power Station, which has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent years (PTSG’s Electrical Services engineers delivered a new lightning protection system at the iconic structure).

The façade of the hotel had clearly not been maintained on a regular basis and was looking tired and shabby. PTSG excels in restoring buildings to a perfect condition, which can involve multiple specialist disciplines.

The scope of work carried out by PTSG’s high-level operatives work included cleaning the fabric of the building’s exterior; repairs to masonry and plasterwork, some of which was crumbling and in a bad state of disrepair; and decorating work – painting the surfaces of the building after repairs had been completed.
