Founded in Germany in 1921, the company is known for its design aesthetic from the 1960s through the 1980s, which included products such as electric shavers, radiograms and record players, movie cameras, slide projectors, clocks, and small kitchen appliances.

It is now a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, producing products in the following categories:

In this contract, engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will be delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) covering fire alarms, air sampling, CCTV for a three‑year period, with potential to work at 15 sites nationally.
