PTSG Helps Make Southwark Offices Fire-Safe

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to deliver specialist fire solutions at a new office development on the South Bank of London.

135 Park Street will be a new 12-storey building providing 131,900 square feet of office space, 12,900 square feet of affordable workspace and a further 1,500 square feet of retail space. It is situated in Southwark on London’s South Bank, close to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern art gallery. The development extends the cultural regeneration of Bankside eastwards.

Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver a commercial sprinkler system in the new building. Sprinkler systems are the most effective means of life and property protection available. Fire sprinkler protection is required in all kinds of buildings: schools, office buildings, theatres and industrial premises. At PTSG, commercial and industrial sprinkler systems are designed and installed to a number of standards, in the UK mainly to BS EN 12845 incorporating the LPCB Technical Bulletins, but also to EN 12845 (European Standard), NFPA and FM Global Standards (both North American Standards).
