Nilfisk introduced three new cleaning solutions: the SC550 scrubber, designed for extensive floor areas; the autonomous SC25 robotic scrubber and the compact yet powerful VHS010 industrial vacuums, which attracted interest from all attendees seeking facility management upgrades. Elsewhere, Jangro presented its fresh new branding to capture the eco‑conscious with on stand displays and live podcast recordings. Dryft showcased its latest advanced product offerings including the popular S‑Motion Scrubber Dryer, and Seldram Supplies highlighted sustainable solutions including sugarcane toilet roll by Tiboo and a compostable range of water‑activated sponges.
Robert Scott impressed attendees with a display of its revolutionary Toucan Eco range, alongside three new automated cleaning robots and a multipurpose trolley featuring innovative ‘Follow‑Me’ technology. The Cleaning Show 2025 offered an exciting and informative conference programme, with numerous sessions highlighting the latest trends and challenges facing the industry. It brought together senior‑level experts, innovators and key stakeholders to discuss everything from sustainability to technological advancements and workforce development.
Delia Cannings, Executive Director at The British Cleaning Council opened the conference with an insightful “2025 Outlook” session, setting the stage for what would become the biggest and most successful show yet. She emphasised the importance of reconnecting with industry peers, forging lasting relationships and the need to attract new talent to the sector.
A major announcement came from the British Cleaning Council (BCC), which launched its annual report detailing the cleaning, hygiene and waste industry's £66 billion contribution to the economy in 2022. The BCC also unveiled a new “Career Development Zone” at the show, aimed at attracting younger workers into the industry. This initiative is part of the ongoing effort to address the ageing workforce, with Delia highlighting that only 9% of workers are under 25, while 27% are over 55.

Darren focused on the need for integrating robots with human workers to enhance efficiency. Alex highlighted the difficulty of getting technology to work in cleaning environments that are not yet accustomed to tech adoption, emphasising the need for thorough site evaluations. Yu discussed the potential of AI to reduce repetitive tasks, giving workers more time to add value, while Merci reflected on how generative AI can help but also noted the challenges of prompt engineering. Throughout these discussions, there was a clear consensus that the industry must embrace change and continue to adapt to new technologies for future success.
Window Showdown
The event also welcomed back the Window Cleaning World Cup 2025 which saw eleven top window cleaning professionals from around the world compete in a high‑stakes challenge to determine the fastest and most skilled in the industry. After a thrilling competition, French competitor Frank Lorat was crowned the winner, showcasing exceptional speed, skill, and precision. Lorat claimed the coveted title with a time of 14.48 seconds, taking the grand prize of £1,000 in cash.

The 2025 CSSA Innovation Showcase at The Cleaning Show celebrated groundbreaking companies revolutionising the cleaning industry.
