Interclean’s Facility Inspiration Event

Interclean Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade show for cleaning and hygiene professionals, is opening its doors on 10th – 13th May 2022 in RAI Amsterdam. Special attention is paid to facility managers with a Facility Inspiration Event on 11th and 12th May.

The Facility Inspiration Event (FIE) guides and brings Facility Managers up to date about current challenges relevant for developing cleaning and facility strategies and procurement. It helps to find the right solutions for specific challenges and is inspired by relevant innovations.

What To Expect?

FIE offers one-hour inspirational sessions followed by themed innovation tours and a Connect & Exchange lunch.

The inspirational sessions give insight on 3 pressing themes by experts through success stories. The 3 pressing themes are:

• Sustainability and supply chain cooperation: not a USP but a must

Creating value and having an impact through chain cooperation.

• Workforce & ergonomics

People are your most valuable asset. How to organise processes smarter and more efficient and contribute to sustainable employment. This is accompanied by forward-looking innovations such as robotics and sensors.

• Data-driven performance management

Insight into progress, process, result and contract performance indicators offers relevant data which can be monitored. How Facility Management and suppliers add value with their data to the collaboration and the service delivered.

Connect & Exchange Lunch

After the inspiration sessions, the participants are invited to join for lunch. This offers the opportunity to ask the expert questions, but also to exchange ideas and experiences with fellow Facility Managers and to get extra inspiration about how to get started with these themes.

Themed Innovation Tours

A specific tour along selected exhibitors has been developed for each theme with specific developments, innovations and solutions. Visitors can choose to join a guided tour or they can follow the ‘do-it-yourself’ tour via the CleanConnect App.

At the ZeroWaste Dome, visitors can get more information on this crucial role of cleaners in waste management by means of lectures and by being introduced to expert companies in the field of waste separation.

Healthcare Cleaning Lab

Daily Demonstrations

The Healthcare Cleaning Lab focusses on cleaning and hygiene in healthcare institutions. These lessons can also be useful for developing ‘back-to-work’ guidelines and procedures.

Live demonstrations are held in a hospital setting that teach the viewer about specialised cleaning methods, guidelines, dress codes, hand hygiene, etc.

Daily Presentations And Debates

Daily presentations are given on a wide range of topics involving cleaning and infection prevention. Pressing themes are discussed in three debates where experts exchange their views on the merits and benefits of new technologies and solutions such as non-wovens, UVC and air. The importance of indoor air quality and what we can do to improve it are also discussed.

Healthcare Cleaning Forum - Specifically For The FM In Hospitals And Long-Term Care

Interclean offers a unique one-day conference on 12th May 2022. Designed as a platform for healthcare experts, cleaning experts and hospital managers including infection prevention specialists and facility managers and industry. It provides in-depth insights into current trends and challenges affecting healthcare cleaning and hygiene in hospitals and long-term care institutions.

The Healthcare Cleaning Forum raises awareness, discusses best practices and explores the latest scientific research on how cleaning can have an impact on infection prevention and control in hospitals and long-term care institutions.
