Improved service offers increased flexibility and choice which is ideal for the hybrid workforce
technologywithin, the leading technology provider to the UK flexible workspace and CRE sectors, announce a major upgrade program to their voice platform and the launch of their new twiinvoice app. The update will provide users with increased flexibility and a platform which is ideal for the hybrid workforce.
The key benefit of the improved twiinvoice service for operators is the improved flexibility. They can now choose from more call package options and can add DDIs and active extensions when they are needed. This provides clients with the ability to set up and modify their voice solution at any point. twiinvoice is also compatible with existing Snom and Yealink handsets, so the majority of clients will not require a handset upgrade. The upgrade program began in 2019 and customer roll-out will be complete by the end of 2022.
A further benefit of the upgrade for workspace clients is the brand new twiinvoice softphone app. This enables flexspace clients to use the IT network to manage their calls, cutting costs and offering more functionality. For a small monthly fee, the app twins mobile and desk phone which allows clients to make and answer calls using just one business number, meaning that they never miss a call.
technologywithin has been providing managed voice services to businesses for over a decade as well as internet bandwidth management and workspace management software. They currently manage over 15,000 phone extensions and carry over 1 million minutes of calls on their platform each month.
Jon Seal, Managing Director at technologywithin, commented: “Post pandemic, when flex clients are often not in the office five days a week, voice services can help the hybrid workforce adapt. twiinvoice is the perfect voice service for the new hybrid working environment. Clients can download the twiinvoice app to answer calls to their business number from their mobile, wherever they are.”
Dr Adam Case, Technical Director at technologywithin, commented: “We took the decision last year to upgrade our voice platform, which we’ve designed to meet the changing demands for telephony in the workplace and to offer more choice and flexibility in the services and call packages.
“Voice services remain a component of the service offering for flexible workspace providers, so it was important to us to develop the platform inhouse to ensure that we can continue to offer our flexspace clients the service quality they expect from us.”
