The Facilities Event Returns To The NEC In September

Facilities Event 2021 logo

As live events return to the UK, The Facilities Event at the NEC, Birmingham, 7-9 September 2021 will be the first opportunity for the entire UK facilities management community and its supply chain to get together. With the UK workforce set to favour a blend of office and non-office working in the future, the central theme to the show will be what a post-covid world looks like for the industry. Workplace and Facilities Managers sit at the very heart of that debate and the show will be an opportunity for organisations and the facilities supply chain to collaborate to share best practice, design the future business models and discuss the wider implications of this shift. Alongside this will be familiar topics to the industry such as climate change, social value, smart technologies and skills development.

All of this will be delivered through an expanded and enhanced trade show, supported by Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), featuring over 100 exhibitors including Altuity Solutions Ltd, Chemiteq, City Sprint, Humanscale, INEOS, Screwfix, Idox, Keynetics, Locatee, Mainteno, P&I, Pickfords, Trade Point and SpaceVac . CPD-accredited seminar sessions give attendees the opportunity to hear from their peers and key industry players on the cutting-edge topics that at the forefront of the industry such as FM’s digital future, the role that FM will play in Net Zero and how facilities professionals will navigate changes to working patterns, new expectations from users of buildings and the resilience of workforce in light of the recent pandemic.

Nineteen Group Managing Director, Alison Jackson said, “The way that we work and interact within the workplace has changed immeasurably in the last 18 months. Now more than ever is a critical time for the facilities sector with workplace wellbeing a major factor. We cannot wait to connect the FM industry at the first physical trade show of the year, to discuss and shape the future of workplace and facilities management.”

The Facilities Event is being held from Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 September 2021 at the NEC, Birmingham – and free visitor registration is now open!
