CHSA Donation Buys Residential Retreat For Up To 30 Bereaved Children
Stephen Harrison, Immediate Past Chairman and Vice President of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) has donated over £10,000 to the Chairman’s Charity, Grief Encounter. The money, raised by CHSA members and their guests at the Association’s Gala Ball and Golf Day, will be used to pay for a residential retreat for up to 30 bereaved children.

British Safety Council: New Building Safety Regulator Must Be Properly Resourced And Funded
New laws on fire safety must give local authorities, the regulator and the fire service enforcement powers says British Safety Council
The British Safety Council has welcomed the government’s proposals to set up a new Building Safety Regulator within the Health and Safety Executive but has warned that is must be adequately resourced and funded. In November 2019, following the publication of Phase One of the Grenfell Inquiry, the British Safety Council called on the government to implement its recommendations.The government has “accepted in principle all these recommendations” and a new regulatory regime will be introduced through a new Fire Safety Bill. It will be overseen by a new Building Safety Regulator to be established within the Health and Safety Executive.
