Support For Post-Pandemic Hybrid Workplaces

Support For Post-Pandemic Hybrid Workplaces GoSpace AI has teamed up with JLL to offer new “dynamic” occupancy planning and management services to cater for post-pandemic hybrid workplaces.

JLL, Property & Development Services and GoSpace AI, a leading provider of workplace and occupancy management artificial intelligence (AI) software, are joining forces to transform how occupancy is supported in the post-pandemic, hybrid workplace.

Bruce Davison, chief executive of GoSpace AI, said JLL will be GoSpace’s primary sales and delivery partner for medium and large enterprises.

GoSpace’s “AIDRA” AI engine will be applied to JLL’s workspace management tools and supply-demand methodology to create the new offering, which will ‘expand and contract’ certain office needs on a real-time basis. This includes dynamic seating allocations and reservation capabilities.

The service will also feature the first ‘always-on’ space optimisation capability in the industry. This function enables reduced cleaning, heating and cooling when space demand drops.

The programme will capture data in a “non-capital-intensive manner” to identify space optimisation, maintenance and energy cost-saving opportunities.

This will be done by using AI-harvested data, running daily simulations to manage dynamic zones and presenting smart space reservations autonomously. The new offer will form part of JLL’s end-to-end product suite.

Daniel Kirschner, JLL’s global lead for portfolio products, said: “The output of AIDRA, coupled with JLL’s current occupancy platform, will be a highly optimised space driven by the confluence of efficiency and effectiveness.

“This integration sets up the framework to enable our clients to migrate from static location management to a next-generation, ‘always-on’ portfolio solution, enabling smarter real estate decision-making.”

Cynthia Kantor, chief product officer at JLL Corporate Solutions, said: “The pandemic has accelerated the demand for enhanced technology solutions in the workplace.

“By staying agile in the ever-evolving, post-pandemic environment, we can reimagine a workplace that enhances human performance, improves space utilisation and remains resilient.”
