Axis Security Awarded £1.2m Contract By CEG

High-vis security guard jacketAxis Security – part of Axis Group – has been awarded a £1.2m security services contract by the property group, CEG, whose property portfolio is valued at £800m.

The tendering of the security contract was an opportunity for CEG to partner with a company who aligned itself with their corporate ethos and could work with them to deliver a constantly high quality of service across all sites.

David Mundell, Managing Director of Axis Security, says Axis is able to offer both a core and enhanced service, as all dedicated staff are given first aid, fire marshall and customer service training: “There is an increasing demand for security officers that not only perform their primary function, but also uphold their employers’ reputation and retain their customer base by providing excellent customer service,” he says.

“Our people-centred strategy means our staff receive a level of training that enables us to deliver a service noted for its consistency and excellence nationwide. We can also deliver a tailored approach to individual sites, which is why major companies such as CEG are placing such huge trust in our people and our management team.”

Axis took control of the national portfolio on October 1. Site based officers are supported by mobile patrols, and officers wear a new uniform bespoke for CEG.
