RFM has been recognised for its health & safety performance during the period of January 01, 2019 to December 31, 2019. The award means a great deal to the business as it demonstrates the team’s commitment to retain the highest of standards, and the importance placed on employee and customer health and safety.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade.

Adrian Mole, Robertson Facilities Management, managing director, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the team at RFM for achieving the President’s Award for their consistent high performance over the last ten years.

“This award recognises the practices and achievements of the business and the priority placed on ensuring all of our employees, customers and end users go home safe at the end of each working day.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: The RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK, but it receives entries from organisations around the world, making it one of the most sought-after global accolades in health and safety.

“RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day. The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organisations everywhere. Currently, around 7million people are directly impacted by the RoSPA Awards, but the scheme’s influence is even wider.”

Adrian continued: “RoSPA set high standards, and to receive gold accreditation for the 10th year in a row is no mean feat. Health & Safety is a number one priority for the business and it is clear the team are fully committed to retaining the high standards that have been set whilst continually adapting and seeking new improvements.”
