RoSPA Recognises LondonEnergy With A Gold Award For Its Health And Safety Achievements

Three LondonEnergy staff LondonEnergy is pleased to announce that it has landed the highly prestigious and internationally recognised RoSPA Gold Award for demonstrating exceptional Health and Safety performance over the course of 2021.

The award was made for the company’s commitment to ensuring that all its employees, contractors and site visitors return home safely to their families at the end of every working day. LondonEnergy has launched a number of initiatives to bolster their health and safety record, these include: behavioural-based safety training for all managers; an incident-reporting app; empowerment cards to remind all employees to Stop and Question All Unsafe Acts; new COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and asbestos management systems; and finally, mobile plant proximity sensors to minimise the risk of pedestrian and mobile plant collisions.

Organisations receiving an RoSPA Award are regarded to be world leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
